Mini Solar Trap – User Manual

• Install 1 to 2 traps per acre.

• The solar panel charges the battery using sunlight, and the trap runs on stored solar energy.

• Provides up to 4 days of backup standby time.

• Mount the trap on a 1.25-inch wooden or iron pole, as shown in the image.

• Install it at the height of the crop canopy (leaf level) above the ground.

• The trap automatically turns ON after sunset and switches OFF after 3 hours and 40 minutes, during which maximum pest insects are trapped.

• After crop harvest, if the trap is stored indoors, expose it to sunlight once every 15 days for charging.

• Preferably install the solar trap in the morning.

• Turn the switch ON by pressing the button towards the vertical line.

• Keep the switch ON as long as the trap is installed in the field.

  • If the switch is OFF, the battery will not charge.

• Replace the water in the collection bucket every 8–10 days.

• After switching ON:

  • The trap activates within 3 seconds.

  • If any light falls on the solar panel, the trap will not operate.

  • When the panel is in complete darkness, the trap starts working after 6 seconds.

• Red LED indicates the battery is charging.

• Yellow LED indicates the controller is functioning properly.
